Leading with vision
Pastor Daniel came to Elkins, with wife Rachael, and their three children, Melody, Maelyn, and Wesley in December of 2023. He has a desire to see Elkins First as a church that genuinely expresses the love of Jesus to this community in relationship, worship, and service. Daniel is also an avid musician and leads our praise team most weeks with guitar and voice.
Our present and future
Crystal has a deep and genuine love for children and is dedicated to seeing the children at Elkins First brought up with a love for Jesus in an environment that is safe and welcoming. Currently, she oversees a ministry that includes Children's Sunday School classes at 9:30am on Sunday mornings, Children's Church during our main services, and Children's meetings on Wednesday nights.
Discipleship with purpose
Josh leads our Discipleship ministries, or DMI, which stands for Discipleship Ministries International in the Church of the Nazarene. In addition to overseeing the Sunday School and group meetings of the church, Josh is also very active in caring for grounds and facilities here at Elkins First.
Rooted in Christ
Sarah began as women's ministries coordinator in 2024, and has a hunger for the women of Elkins First and our communities to go deeper in faith, and rely completely on Jesus for hope and purpose. She currently leads a small group for the E1Naz ladies on Thursday nights at 6:00 here on the Elkins First campus
