About our Pastor
Daniel Rogers
Lead Pastor
Pastor Daniel came to Elkins, with wife Rachael, and their three children, Melody, Maelyn, and Wesley in December of 2023. He has a desire to see Elkins First as a church that genuinely expresses the love of Jesus to this community in relationship, worship, and service. Daniel is also an avid musician and leads our praise team most weeks with guitar and vocals. Outside of things he does for the church, Daniel enjoys sports AND nerdy things and feels just as comfortable playing ball and working on his motorcycle as he does talking theology and Sci-Fi.

Suzanne Cain
NDI Superintendent
NDI (Nazarene Discipleship International) is the branch of church leadership that covers Sunday School, small groups, and other opportunities for teaching, learning, and molding the lives of new and experienced Christ-followers. Suzanne, having served in education for many years, has embraced her role and is overseeing many positive changes and improvements to our discipleship ministries.
Kaci Zopp
NMI President
NMI (Nazarene Missions International) is the missional branch of the church that focuses on the supporting of missionaries, charitable giving initiatives, disaster response, work & witness, and many other vital international programs. Kaci was elected to her first term in 2025 and is eager to focus on local service projects and preparing our congregation for a work and witness trip outside of WV.
Dennis Phipps
NYI President
NYI (Nazarene Youth International) is the youth-centered organization within the Church of the Nazarene, and offers opportunities for growth, service, and discipleship geared specifically toward middle and high-schoolers. NYI here and on our district also offers opportunities for connection with other teens in the state and region. Dennis and wife, Jennifer, have served our teens faithfully and have fostered a renewed connection to the youth of the WV North District.
Jaime Gannon
Children's Ministry
Our Children's Ministries include Children's Church concurrent with our worship services, nursery ministry, a yearly Vacation Bible School (VBS) and numerous skits and musicals. Jaime took the helm of children's ministry in Summer 2026 and is actively engaged in getting our children more involved in service projects and learning how to be leaders in various roles during community worship!
